Bengals start mandatory minicamp this week

The Cincinnati Bengals are part of the NFL’s second wave of mandatory minicamps to start next week.

Zac Taylor’s team is one of 23 to start the three sessions starting on Tuesday, June 11th.

The Bengals didn’t have a problem with the “mandatory” part of OTAs prior to this though, with the whole 91-man roster accounted for most of the time.

Mandatory camps shouldn’t be any different and could see some progression in the health department with A.J. Green finally medically cleared.

This small mandatory camp permits players to have 3.5 hours of on-field sessions per day. Pads aren’t allowed by the league, so things shouldn’t differ too much from OTAs as a whole.

After the three days, the Bengals get a six-week break before training camp at the end of July.
