Bengals sign two players to active roster ahead of Week 14 vs. Cowboys

The Cincinnati Bengals made a trio of roster moves before hosting Andy Dalton and the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday for a Week 14 cross-conference showdown.

Cincinnati announced the signing of wide receiver Stanley Morgan and safety Trayvon Henderson to the active roster from the practice squad. The team also elevated defensive lineman Kahlil McKenzie.

McKenzie is a COVID-19 replacement designation and will revert back to the practice squad Monday.

Of the above names, it’s Morgan who is most interesting. He’s been a selected protected player on the practice squad all season by the Bengals, meaning other teams were unable to poach him.

Morgan is a key presence on special teams and that’s clearly an emphasis coming out of a game where a gunner (Mike Thomas) was flagged twice, sparking a brawl with the Miami Dolphins.
