Bengals sent Lou Anarumo to Kentucky pro day

Cincinnati Bengals head coach Zac Taylor has been busy making the rounds at pro days — and new defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo is now doing the same.

According to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, Anarumo was at Kentucky’s pro day Friday.

There, the biggest attraction was pass rusher Josh Allen, the 6’5″, 262-pound force who sometimes sees his name among the top 10 in mock drafts.

The Bengals clearly have an eye on fixing the pass rush this offseason based on the pursuits of guys like Vinny Curry. Allen would be an interesting fit in Cincinnati, but a multiple front and new coordinator could make for some interesting wrinkles.

There is an outside chance the draft develops unexpectedly and Allen falls, so the Bengals were naturally going to send their defensive leader to see one of the better defenders in the class.
