Bengals ripped for Bobby Hart’s contract extension

Monday, word broke the Cincinnati Bengals were bringing back right tackle Bobby Hart on a three-year deal worth $21 million.

The response was disastrous, to say the least.

Hart, 24, struggled mightily last season during his first year with the Bengals, playing at right tackle and combining with Alex Redmond to become one of the league’s most penalized offensive lines.

Despite this, a new Bengals coaching staff led by Zac Taylor has signed off on the transaction, presumably with a nod of approval from new offensive line coach Jim Turner.
