That has never happened in the Super Bowl era. The last time it occurred was with the Baltimore Colts and Green Bay Packers in 1965-1966.

The Bengals have won these teams’ last two meetings: a 27-17 win in Week 17 and a 24-17 wild-card victory in which Sam Hubbard had a 98-yard fumble return for a touchdown.
For the Bengals, getting to 3-0 during this run would mean avoiding a tough 0-2 hole to start the season.
