The Cincinnati Bengals didn’t waste any time ruling out A.J. Green this week, either.
A day removed from falling to 0-5, the Bengals made a point to declare Green out for Week 6 against the Baltimore Ravens, confirmed by Tyler Dragon of the Cincinnati Enquirer.
That’s a big hit for a Bengals team that seemed like it was close to having Green back — especially considering how well he plays against those Ravens.
During the Week 5 loss, wideout was one of the team’s bigger problems and besides placing John Ross on IR last week, the offense lost Alex Erickson to a concussion.
Meaning, some combo of Auden Tate, Damion Willis and Stanley Morgan will have to step up big alongside Tyler Boyd’s consistent play if the Bengals are to avoid 0-6.
