Joe Burrow Rd is now a thing in Louisiana.
The Cincinnati Bengals quarterback has had a few things named after him in the past, primarily due to his college days at LSU and even stretching as far back as his high school days in Athens, Ohio.
But this week Burrow’s namesake split off in a new direction, officially becoming a thing in Louisiana near the LSU campus where the No. 1 pick recently spent his time putting on one of the best college seasons by a passer…ever.
Scottie Hunter of WAFB provided a brief rundown of the eventful happenstance:
This is hardly the first time something has been renamed or outright named in Burrow’s honor lately. Late last year, Athens High School started the process of renaming a football field after him. A baby giraffe at Baton Rouge Zoo was also named after him.
