Bengals QB Jake Browning makes some wild NFL history

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Jake Browning has done the unthinkable, literally, over the course of his last three outings in place of Joe Burrow while keeping his team alive in the playoff hunt.

Per the NFL after the Week 15 win over the Minnesota Vikings, Browning is the first quarterback with 1,000-plus passing yards with a completion percentage north of 75 percent over his first four starts.

That’s counting any quarterback, ever, since 1950.

Over his last four games, Browning has thrown for 1,180 yards and six touchdowns with another two scores as a runner. He’s thrown for at least 275 yards in each of the three consecutive wins, too.
