Bengals move Cordy Glenn to LG, Jonah Williams will start at LT

Not too long ago, Cincinnati Bengals coaches warned against reading too much into on-field lineups along the offensive line at OTAs.

To start OTAs, Bengals coaches announced left tackle Cordy Glenn is moving to left guard.

Glenn told Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic about the move, which sends first-round pick Jonah Williams to left tackle.

The news isn’t too surprising. Williams was taken high enough that only left tackle would make sense. Glenn hasn’t played guard since probably his college days and his moving to left guard means Clint Boling doesn’t have a surefire spot on the line now.

A move with big implications for the offense, the Bengals have to hope this solidifies the left side for years with Billy Price at center. As far as the right side, it’s probably time to start speculating.
