The Cincinnati Bengals have missed on another pass rusher in free agency, with Vinny Curry deciding to return to the Philadelphia Eagles on a one-year deal.
Curry, 30, had left the Eagles in 2018 on a big deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. That team flopped and Curry hit the market again, making him an intriguing, versatile pass rusher available for all.
The Bengals had reportedly had Curry in town for a visit, but it sounds like he’s more comfortable going back to a team and city he already knows.
It’s the second known pass rusher that has visited the Bengals and decided to sign elsewhere. Shaquil Barrett did the same before signing a one-year deal with, coincidentally enough, those Buccaneers.
Clearly, pass rusher is on the menu for the Bengals during the upcoming draft.
