Bengals waive two players, sign three UDFAs

The Cincinnati Bengals used rookie minicamp to make some slight adjustments to the roster.

According to the team, the Bengals signed the following undrafted free agents:

  • WR Ventell Bryant, Temple
  • LB Noah Dawkins, The Citadel
  • LB Sterling Sheffield, Maine

Bryant is the biggest name there, coming off a season in which he put up 690 yards and three touchdowns. The 6-foot-3 wideout was invited to camp on a tryout basis and clearly impressed, so he’ll get a chance to keep climbing the ladder over the summer.

The Bengals also cut two players: undrafted wideout Charles Holland and linebacker Brandon Bell. Bell spent the last two seasons in Cincinnati and appeared in 14 total games.
