Bengals’ Jonah Williams suffers neck injury vs. Browns, doubtful to return

The Cincinnati Bengals lost offensive tackle Jonah Williams against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday.

After a few struggle-filled drives against the likes of Myles Garrett, the left tackle went to the blue medical tent on the Cincinnati sideline and later had his helmet taken away so he could go to the locker room.

Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic noted the following: “They are taking Jonah Williams to the locker room. Appeared they were doing a concussion test with him.”

Any sort of injury to Williams is a bad ordeal for a Bengals team already struggling with middling offensive line play. And it’s especially bad for Williams, the first-round pick who missed his entire rookie year and was just starting to look like the team’s best lineman.
