Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon is the hottest non-Joe Burrow topic surrounding the team right now as both parties presumably inch closer to getting a long-term contract done.
Mixon hit the practice fields with his teammates Tuesday for what was technically the start of training camp this year. And while Burrow’s big debut in stripes was the biggest news of all, it was Mixon’s appearance that made some waves virtually.
And Mixon didn’t seem too shy about such a topic on social media, where he’s previously had an interesting conversation with Shawn Williams seemingly about his contract.

Year 4 is the big one for Mixon as he likely gets wrapped up on an extension this summer and enters the likely best situation he’s been in yet as a pro thanks to upgrades to the offensive line and quarterback.
Duke Tobin just made it clear the Bengals want to extend Mixon and the star running back himself reportedly wants to be a top-eight earner at his position.
