Bengals injury report: John Ross to IR; 3 players downgraded

The Cincinnati Bengals’ injury situation got worse with their Thursday injury report. They began the week with three players sitting out. On Thursday, they added a player to injured reserve, two more players sat out and another was downgraded to limited.

Receiver John Ross was placed on injured reserve after his shoulder injury. He already was not going to play against the Cardinals. He cannot play for at least eight weeks now.

Defensive end Carlos Dunlap went from a full participant in practice with a knee injury, sat out Thursday. Defensive end Kerry Wynn sat out practice on Thursday with a concussion after practicing fully on Wednesday.

Safety Shawn Williams was a full participant on Wednesday with a knee injury. He did not practice Thursday.
