Bengals hardly behind Browns in Ravens-led AFC North

Things are bad for the Cincinnati Bengals. Yet, Zac Taylor’s team is far from the only one having problems in the AFC North.

Cincinnati’s in-state rival Cleveland Browns are just 2-6 after an offseason of hype resulted in a massive implosion.

The standings:

  • Baltimore Ravens 6-2
  • Pittsburgh Steelers 4-4
  • Cleveland Browns 2-6
  • Cincinnati Bengals 0-8

Those Browns have lost four in a row since Week 4, the latest a 24-19 loss to Denver. The Bengals still get to play the Browns twice, which figures to play a factor in where the team stands for the top overall pick in the 2020 draft — where they currently stand first.

Elsewhere, the Steelers are looking as resilient as ever with three consecutive wins. The Ravens have an MVP contender in Lamar Jackson and just took down the New England Patriots.

The Bengals come out of a bye this week to host those Ravens and hope to not only avoid a season sweep, but register the first win of the season.
