Bengals get good news on Michael Jordan and the flurry of injuries suffered Week 2

The Cincinnati Bengals lost a bevy of names to injury during the team’s Week 2 loss to the San Francisco 49ers.

Yet it sounds like none of them were as bad as it seemed.

Zac Taylor met with the media and provided updates on most of the guys. Rookie guard Michael Jordan should miss Week 3 — but that’s it, which is impressive given he left the field on a cart.

Andre Smith hurt himself halfway through the game but should not only be ready to go for Week 3, but could have returned last week.

Corner B.W. Webb, despite appearing in a cast, should be day-to-day. Defensive end Kerry Wynn has joined Cordy Glenn in concussion protocol.

The one mystery coming out of the flurry of injuries is Carl Lawson, as Taylor didn’t want to speculate on the hamstring injury there.

Besides Lawson, most notable is Jordan, which means Billy Price will be in the lineup at either left guard or center, depending on what the coaches want to do with starting center Trey Hopkins.

Taylor and Co. will have more on all injuries Wednesday.
