The Cincinnati Bengals have one of the lowest chances of making the 2022 Super Bowl next year based on futures lines from oddsmakers that released recently.
Ahead of the Kansas City Chiefs playing the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in this year’s Super Bowl, BetMGM.listed out odds for the 2022 Super Bowl and hit the Bengals with a +8000 line.
That line is tied with three other teams as the second-worst line outright. The Bengals sit tied with the Jets, Lions and Texans and are only ahead of the Jaguars (+10000).
Does that make the Bengals a terrible bet? Historically, two teams out of nine that finished with five or fewer wins last year will post winning records. Luckily for the Bengals, they’re one of only 10 teams actually sitting pretty with a franchise quarterback ready to go for 2021 thanks to Joe Burrow. Add in a top-five pick and another trip to free agency and anything is possible, right?
