The offseason can be a slog, so it’s always fun to take a look at some of the polls and competitions that weave in fans to pass the time.
One of those is underway right now via GMFB, where they are asking fans to vote on the best wide receivers in the NFL.
A.J. Green of the Cincinanti Bengals naturally comes up alongside Mike Evans, Jarvis Landry and Juju Smith-Schuster in his bracket.
And that one isn’t much of a competition. Evans would seem to be the closest right now but only has five seasons under his belt. He’s put up 6,000-plus yards and 40 touchdowns while averaging 15.5 yards per catch.
But for comparison’s sake, Green is at eight seasons and nearly 9,000 yards with 63 touchdowns and an average of 14.8.
Understandably, as of this writing, Green is winning his bracket. It should be interesting to see whether that continues if he advances.
