The pick for the Cincinnati Bengals at fifth overall boils down to LSU wideout Ja’Marr Chase or Oregon offensive tackle Penei Sewell.
And in a new expert mock draft from USA Today Sports Network, Tyler Dragon of the Cincinnati Enquirer has the Bengals selecting Chase.
This comes on the heels of Peter King finally admitting in his final mock draft that Chase is probably the way to go, too.
The Bengals can’t go wrong with Chase or Sewell at No. 5, though the former has his LSU connection with Joe Burrow working for him, never mind the Cincinnati playbook relying heavily on three wideouts and boasting some of those LSU concepts.
