Bengals’ Charlie Jones reveals surgery and injury return timetable

Cincinnati Bengals rookie wide receiver Charlie Jones revealed on Wednesday that he underwent surgery for the thumb injury that sent him to injured reserve.

According to CLNS Media’s Mike Petraglia, Jones also stressed that he expects to be back and ready after the bye week as soon as he’s eligible, meaning Week 9.
