Bengals aren’t well represented on early 2019 MVP odds

The Cincinnati Bengals haven’t fared well in many odds this offseason, ranging from poor win totals to tiny chances at the playoffs.

Naturally, the trend continues when it comes to individual awards like the MVP.

As John Murray showed in the image above, the Bengals don’t have many representatives present on an expansive list of 2019 MVP odds.

There, A.J. Green and Joe Mixon check in at a cool 200-1, which is a nice payout if those somehow happen, to say the least. Those obviously aren’t the best bets in the world though. A non-quarterback hasn’t won since 2012 and while Mixon did lead the league in rushing, the odds he puts up prime Adrian Peterson numbers seem slim.

Overall, it isn’t any surprise to see Patrick Mahomes and Aaron Rodgers top the list there. Green ends up tailing contemporaries like Odell Beckham Jr. and is tied with someone like JuJu Smith-Schuster.
