Bengals announce 2019 undrafted free-agent class

The Cincinnati Bengals announced their 2019 undrafted free-agent class to start Friday and Saturday’s rookie minicamp.

Reports had floated here and there about the class but the Bengals don’t announce until the players are in the building with physicals passed.

This is the official class:

  • LB Curtis Akins, Memphis
  • CB Anthony Chesley, Coastal Carolina
  • QB Jake Dolegala, Central Connecticut State
  • G/OT O’Shea Dugas, Louisiana Tech
  • HB Jordan Ellis, Virginia
  • WR Charles Holland, Tiffin
  • S Tyree Kinnel, Michigan
  • WR Stanley Morgan, Nebraska
  • G/OT Keaton Sutherland, Texas A&M
  • WR Damion Willis, Troy

Stanley Morgan, the record-breaking wideout from Nebraska, is, of course, the headlining act. He’s got an uphill battle at one of the team’s deepest positions, but getting him in the door is the first step.

Overall, the class is comprised of three players, most of them coming on the offensive side of the ball, which isn’t too surprising given the offensive nature of Zac Taylor’s staff.

Twenty players will also work out with the team on a tryout basis.
