Bengals add free-agent LB LaRoy Reynolds

The Cincinnati Bengals cut loose defensive end Jordan Willis on Tuesday, reportedly to make room for free-agent linebacker LaRoy Reynolds.

Reynolds, 28, went undrafted in 2013 and has played on five different teams. He spent time with the Atlanta Falcons during their Super Bowl run and popped up with the San Francisco 49ers this offseason before getting let go at the end of August.

The Bengals were content to lose Willis because they had four ends playing well in Seattle while he went inactive. They had rostered 11 defensive linemen at the 53-man cutdown but only four linebackers.

Reynolds has spot-starting experience and made some big plays in the preseason, but is mostly a depth move at this point.
