The Cincinnati Bengals will have their usual preseason meetup with the Indianapolis Colts in 2019 alongside a few other interesting matchups.
The NFL announced the full preseason schedule recently. Here’s a look at the Bengals’ slate:
- Week 1: at Kansas City Chiefs, Saturday, Aug. 10 at 8 pm ET
- Week 2: at Washington, Thursday, Aug. 15 at 7:30 pm ET
- Week 3: vs. New York Giants, Thursday, Aug. 22 at 7 pm ET
- Week 4: vs. Indianapolis Colts, Thursday, Aug. 29 at 7 pm ET
The new-look Bengals under Zac Taylor will get a pair of road tests to start the slate of exhibitions before returning home.
That third week against the New York Giants is when the starters will see the most run again. While vanilla because the games don’t matter, it should be interesting to see hints at Taylor’s full-blown offense.
Otherwise, the four games are nice warmups for fans and a way for the coaching staff to cut down the roster before the season begins.
