Bengairn Parishes and Castle Douglas Parish Church hold Christmas gift services

The Bengairn Parishes held their gift service in Auchencairn Church the same day as their linked parish at Castle Douglas.

Both congregations brought gifts for children and young people, which were collected by members of the local social work team to be distributed locally.

As part of their Christmas celebrations, the Bengairn Parishes created a Nativity collage to the delight of the local community, using recycled material and attached it to the railings at Auchencairn.

Meanwhile, Castle Douglas has been hosting its Christmas tree festival which was restricted to congregational groups due to the issues surrounding Covid. All who have come to view the trees enjoyed the creativity in the tree decorations.
