Ben White is relishing a battle with Cristiano Ronaldo when Arsenal face Manchester United next month.
The centre-half has bounced back from a difficult start to his Gunners career as he helped his side go on a four-game unbeaten run, including three clean sheets.
White already test himself against Harry Kane in his first north London derby and now he has his sights set on Ronaldo.
In a Q&A on Arsenal’s Twitch channel, White was asked which fixture he was most looking forward to next and he said: "I’d probably say playing against [Cristiano] Ronaldo you know."
White was then asked if he thinks he can handle the five-time Ballon d’Or winner.

He responded while smirking: "I’ll be alright…"
White admitted that Aleksandar Mitrovic is one of the toughest opponents he has come up against due to the Fulham striker's physicality.
He added: "It probably won’t be someone you would think of but Mitrovic in the Championship, that was my toughest game against a striker.
"He’s so strong, aggressive, he would pinch you, he elbowed me straight in the jaw. He put one on me early. He was tough, for sure."
White has formed a partnership with Gabriel to anchor Arsenal's defence and the Brazilian has praised his calming influence on the backline after their 0-0 stalemate against Brighton.
He said: "Thanks to God we have managed to win three games together and keep two clean sheets.
"It’s only the beginning but I think we have the makings of a very good partnership, in terms of our attributes.
"The manager wants his central defenders to defend well, first and foremost. He wants us to know the moments to attack and the moments to defend.
"That’s what we are trying to do, and we know now when to drop deep and ‘when to push up.’
On Ramsdale, who has quickly replaced Bernd Leno as Arsenal’s no.1, Gabriel added: "He is a very good goalkeeper.
"He is another new guy who is very young and has a bright future ahead of him. He helps us a lot. He is a good communicator on the pitch and his distribution is also very good."
