Ben White is calling for the family of one young Leeds United fan to contact him after their offer to buy him went viral yesterday.
Brighton & Hove Albion, White’s parent club, released five-year-old Daniel Auton’s letter and their reply on Twitter yesterday.
At the time of writing, Daniel’s letter, which offers the Seagulls £15.07 to buy the defender for the Whites, had been retweeted more than 1,000 times and liked by nearly 8,000 accounts.
This morning, White has put the call out for Daniel’s family to come forward and get in touch with him after the handwritten note underlined he was the youngster’s favourite player.
White has been a sensation for United this season and played every minute of the Championship campaign. His loan is scheduled to expire on June 30.
