Ben White speaks on future
Ben White has issued a heartfelt message to Leeds United supporters after the end of his loan spell and has refused to rule out a return to Elland Road.
The Brighton loanee played all 46 matches in Leeds' title-winning campaign and has been heavily linked with a permanent move this summer, although Leeds would face plenty of competition in the market.
In a social media post, White thanked Leeds for his spell and refused to rule out a return.
"Having had some time to reflect on what has been the most incredible season, I wanted to take the time to thank everyone associated with Leeds United Football Club, including the incredible supporters.
"No matter what happens from here I will never forget the way you took me in and treated me as one of your own from day one."
Edinson Cavani claim made
Super agent Kia Joorabchian believes Leeds United fans have a lot to look forward to under the guidance of Andrea Radrizanni and Marcelo Bielsa - and believes a potential move for Edinson Cavani could happen.
The 33-year-old has been linked with a move to Elland Road, with Radrizzani suggesting that a move for the Uruguay international would be considered - and Joorabchian thinks it is a possibility.
“The Leeds owner has very good links in Italy and with a couple of the guys that work closely with Cavani, “ he told talkSPORT.
“If anyone was to pull something like that off, they could. Bielsa is so highly regarded, he was one of the teachers of Tevez. For many, many years I followed him and Leeds fans have a lot to look forward to with those guys at the helm. They’re football people.”
Agent discusses Leeds target's future
The agent of River Plate defender Lucas Martinez Quarta has suggested that an exit from the South American side could be on the cards amid reported interest from Leeds United.
Marcelo Bielsa's side are in the market for a new defender following the expiration of Ben White's loan deal with the club and Martinez has been linked with a move which, according to his agent, the door could be opened for a move.
“If it were for what comes out in the media, we’d have already sold him several times. You have to be patient, this has just started. England ended only yesterday,” Gustavo Goni told TyC Sports.
“No club were going to be thinking about signings when many were playing for important things. I think that in the next few days the wheel will start to move and then we’ll see where we stand.”
