Leeds United fans have taken to social media to give their reaction to the permanent signing of goalkeeper Illan Meslier.
The stopper has been on loan at Elland Road this season from French side FC Lorient, with the club confirming that the deal has now become a permanent one.
Meslier has signed a deal that will see him remain at the club until at least the summer of 2023 after impressing when he stepped up after the suspension of Kiko Casilla both before and after the suspension of fixtures.
After being left out of the squad against Derby County, Meslier kept a clean sheet in the final game of the season against Charlton Athletic on Wednesday night, with the Whites recording a 4-0 victory.
The 20-year-old made a total of 11 appearances this season, keeping a clean sheet in seven of them games.
