Ben Stokes hit 42 from 56 balls on the last day of England 's final intra squad warm-up match ahead of the first Ashes Test next week.
The game was Stokes' first since July and he showed signs of form, picking up two wickets and scoring 42 runs before retiring to allow others a chance to bat.
Opener Rory Burns made 37, but there were failures for the likes of Haseeb Hameed, Dawid Malan and captain Joe Root.
Chris Woakes took the first wicket, getting Hameed out for seven, while Malan and Root were dismissed for just eight and nine respectively.

Jonny Bairstow got out first ball and Jos Buttler was dismissed second ball, before some players swapped sides and others were sent in to bat again.
Hameed, Bairstow and Buttler all got the opportunity for a second hit, while James Anderson was one of the players to move teams in order to get a few more overs under his belt.
The first Ashes Test is set to begin on December 8 at The Gabba and Root has vowed that his side will not "take a backward step".
Speaking to BBC Sport, he said: "It's really important that we have a clear understanding of how they will try to attack us, and counter it.
"Not be scared of it or take a backward step, but be brave in our own way. Don't try to be Australia in Australia, but the best version of ourselves in those conditions.
"If we do that, we'll be absolutely fine. We're not going there to be part of a tour, we're going there to win. That has to be the mentality.
"We can't hide away from the fact we need big scores. That's not putting pressure on our batters. We should relish that challenge.
"Australia can be a wonderful place to bat. It can get flat. You have to manage the bounce well and come through the odd barrage of short-pitched bowling, being wary of different kinds of dismissal.
"It can be a fantastic place to score runs - that is how I'll be looking at it."
