As far as amicable splits go, Ben Simmons’ breakup with the Philadelphia 76ers was just about the opposite of that. In the two years since the 2021 series loss to the Atlanta Hawks, Simmons’ career has yet to rebound. But he’s finding some comfort in watching the Sixers struggle as well.

The 76ers saw yet another season end in the second round on Sunday when the Boston Celtics dominated Game 7, 112-88.

Now, Simmons’ season already ended in a sweep against the 76ers. But as his former teammates were down by 30 points, Simmons took to Instagram show how he was enjoying a relaxing Sunday afternoon.

A glass of wine, some water and an absolute blowout on the television. The pettiness wasn’t subtle at all there, Ben.

NBA fans also had jokes about the Instagram Story.
