Ben Shephard clashed with a government minister on GMB over Boris Johnson and Rishi Sunak's self isolation decision on Sunday.
Ben and his co-host Susanna Reid grilled business minister Paul Scully on the ITV show over a variety of subjects.
The interview turned to self-isolation and the amount of people that are currently isolating after being 'pinged' by the NHS app.

Health Secretary Sajid Javid tested positive for covid at the weekend, but Prime Minister and Chancellor Rishi Sunak initially decided they weren't going to self isolate because they were part of a new pilot scheme.
Following a public outcry Mr Johnson and Mr Sunak both reversed their decisions and are currently self isolating.
Ben and Susanna asked Mr Scully what he thought of the news on Sunday morning and he admitted that he hadn't seen the news as it happened.
He said: "Well frankly I wasn't watching the rolling news at the time, I was out enjoying my freedoms.
Ben was stunned that a senior minister was unaware of the news as it happened and said: "You're a senior business minister and you weren't across what the Chancellor and the Prime Minister...."
But Mr Scully hit back and said: "On a Sunday morning Ben, on a Sunday morning when I was on the Isle of Wight at someone's wedding.
As the interview ended Ben turned to Susanna and said: "I'd like to go to a wedding that starts at 8am on a Sunday morning, could we sort that out?"
Susanna smiled and said: "I thought the Andrew Marr show was compulsory viewing for those in government, I'm sure he'll be sad to find out it's not."
