Ben Roethlisberger says he’s determined to coming back better than ever

Amid rumors about his future, Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger gave all of Steeler Nation the best Christmas gift ever. Roethlisberger took to Twitter on Wednesday to assure everyone that he’s working hard and wants to come back better than ever in 2020.

ESPN NFL reporter Chris Mortensen had floated the rumor there was some doubt from Roethlisberger that he’d ever be healthy enough to return to the NFL. A rumor he quickly backpedaled on when pressed about it.

There’s no better news to get on Christmas than to get it straight from Big Ben that he’s committed to returning. The Steelers have put together a quality young team on the verge of the playoffs even without Rothlisberger. The elbow injury he suffered has kept him on the shelf since the second game of the season.
