Burnley defender Ben Mee has rubbished "mad" transfer speculation linking him with a move to Newcastle United.
The centre-back was linked with a move to St. James' Park earlier on in the window, alongside team mate James Tarkowski.
Eddie Howe has not hidden his desire to bring a central defender in the January transfer window, with bids for Sven Botman and Diego Carlos being rejected.

Newcastle have turned their attention away from Botman, with the Dutch youth international set to stay at Lille until the summer.
The Toon have one of the worst defensive records in the Premier League and are in desperate need of reinforcements.
Last week, the Magpies made the shock £25million signing of former Claret, Chris Wood, and Mee has had his say on a potential move to Newcastle United.
Speaking to the Athletic, he said: “I want to get the club out of this situation.
“That’s the focus. I won’t be going anywhere for now.
"I saw some mad links to Newcastle; imagine going there and ruining the 10 years I’ve had here, that’s not the reputation I want.
“I want to keep this club in the Premier League and play for Burnley for a long time.”
