Concert putting disability centre stage to be performed by BSL musicians

Glasgow’s Scottish Music Centre is set to host a concert performed by an ensemble of BSL musicians.

A Sign Of Things To Come on November 5 aims to promote inclusion in the industry by bringing "disability to the forefront".

Award-winning Sunderland composer Ben Lunn, who now lives in Glasgow, makes his Scottish debut at the show as he re-creates two of his works inspired by the experience of living with an invisible disability.

Joining him will be Kimie Composition Prize winner Electra Perivolaris, a pianist described by the BBC as being a ‘classical star of the future along with d Dr Sonia Allori who, as well as a composer and performer, is a researcher on disability arts at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.

The concert begins at 7pm on Tuesday. Tickets are free and can be reserved  here .
