Ben Garuccio says he has no regrets after leaving Hearts.
The Australian left back’s departure by mutual consent was confirmed last night, the 25-year old leaving Tynecastle after just over two years.
Garuccio’s game time was likely to be limited after the arrival of Stephen Kingsley and Aidy White already on the books, so has taken the decision to move on.
Despite suffering a serious knee injury that kept him out for the majority of 2019, the defender couldn’t speak highly enough of his time at the club as he posted a farewell message.
It read: “My time at Hearts has come to an end. While I can say I wish some things had panned out differently, I have absolutely no regrets from my time in maroon.
“I developed as a player and a person, I lived in an incredible city and played for a huge football club with huge history.
“Thanks to everyone - players, staff and fans alike - for always making me feel at home. I have no doubt that the club is destined for big things and know the lads will do everything to get the club back to where it should be.
“I will be supporting for afar and wish everyone involved with the club all the success #HHGH.”
