Former England international goalkeeper Ben Foster insists a European night at Celtic Park is the best atmosphere he has ever played in.
Foster started the match when Celtic hosted Manchester United in a Champions League classic back in 2008.
The clash would end 1-1 after Scott McDonald's epic opener was cancelled out by Ryan Giggs with just six minutes left on the clock.
And 13 years later the noise has stayed with current Watford shot-stopper Foster all that time – as the now veteran insists the 60,000 in attendance got in his lead "like you wouldn't believe.
Speaking to the Fozcast Podcast, Foster said: "I played in a Celtic-Man U game once, up at Celtic. It was in the Champions League.
"We drew 1-1 and I definitely should have saved the goal, but don't worry about that!
"The atmosphere at Celtic Park, I have got to say, was the best atmosphere I have ever played at, ever.
"It got in my head like you would not believe. Honestly, I was cr*****g myself all the way through the game.
"The noise was like nothing I have ever heard before, when they are attacking (Celtic) their fans suck the ball into the goal."
38-year-old Foster is back in the English Premier League with the Hornets after promotion last season and the former West Brom and Manchester United goalkeeper's deal expires at the end of the upcoming season.
