Ben Foden has admitted he never met to hurt his ex-wife Una Healy and said he will “always love” the former Saturdays star.
The rugby star - who has reportedly moved on with another Irish woman, Miriam Murphy - said he regrets cheating on Una.
Speaking on Sunday night’s Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins, Ben, 33, said: “At this moment in time my life is a bit of a mess.
“It has been difficult over the last couple of months for sure. There’s loads of elements to a marriage and there’s loads of reasons it didn’t work.”
Foden, who has two children, Aoife Belle, 7, and four-year-old son Tadhg, with the Tipperary stunner, continued: “I’ll always love Una.
“She was my first love and the mother of my kids. I never meant to hurt her in the way I did,” he said on the Stand Up To Cancer special on Channel 4.
