Ben Dunne Gyms has announced plans to reopen one of its Dublin branches with a number of major changes.
The popular chain of gyms will be reopening the Blanchardstown outlet first September and October while the rest will be opened on a "phased basis".
Gym goers can expect a number of changes as the following facilities will no long be available:
- Pool, Steam Rooms and Jacuzzi
- Changing Facilities and Showers
- Studios/Classes/Spinning
Fitness fanatics will be expected to arrive ready to workout in the appropriate attire and when finished, leave the gym to shower at home or work.
Lockers will be provided on the gym floor.
A spokesperson for Ben Dunne Gyms said: “Depending on how this gym performs, we will look at the reopening of other gyms on a phased basis.”
Direct debit membership payments are frozen for now and will only be reactivated when the gyms reopen.
Additionally time will be added to those who have annual membership for the period the gyms are closed.
Refunds can be requested for the amount of the remaining membership.
