Tottenham Hotspur head coach Jose Mourinho has been dealt some worrying injury news ahead of the festive period.
Left-back Ben Davies is facing a long spell on the sidelines with an ankle issue.
Sustained in the 3-2 win over West Ham United last weekend, the Welshman was forced to sit out the Champions League victory over Olympiacos on Tuesday night as a result.
Although, Davies was present at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as his teammates fought back to 2-0 down.
However, it's not good news.
In the mixed zone after the game, Davies was spotted on crutches and in a protective boot and delivered an injury update which certainly rules him out of the clash against Bournemouth on Saturday.
"It doesn't look good. It will be a while," he told reporters following the 4-2 win.
This is hardly good news for Jose Mourinho as Spurs have a tough set of games on the horizon.
Four days after the clash against the Cherries at home he make his first return to Old Trafford since being sacked last December as Spurs face Manchester United in a huge game.
There's also the Champions League tie against Bayern Munich - although the Lilywhites are already safely into the knockout stages.
Furthermore, Spurs have a London derby against Chelsea in the final game before Christmas and Mourinho will be hopeful that the Welshman is back in contention.
Luckily for Spurs and Mourinho, there is adequate cover for Davies at left-back.
Danny Rose filled in there against Olympiacos, while summer signing Ryan Sessegnon can also operate in that position as he showed at former club Fulham.
