Ben Chilwell has praised Kepa Arrizabalaga following the Spaniard's excellent performance in Chelsea's 1-0 Carabao Cup semi-final win over Tottenham Hotspur.
The Blues booked their place in the final of the competition after eliminating Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday night.
Chelsea had a two-goal advantage over Spurs heading into the game after winning the first leg 2-0 at Stamford Bridge, with Kai Havertz breaking the deadlock early on before Ben Davies inadvertently scored an own goal shortly after.
Thomas Tuchel's side then secured a 1-0 win on Wednesday night, scoring the only goal of the game through German defender Antonio Rudiger, who headed past Pierluigi Gollini in the 14th minute.
The west Londoners have now reached final of the competition for the first time since 2019.
There were few standout performers over the course of both legs, but Kepa, who failed to concede a goal on both occasions, showed Tuchel exactly what he's capable of.
Although the Spaniard is only in the side as a result of Edouard Mendy being at the Africa Cup of Nations, he's going about his business nicely.
That much has been recognised by Blues teammate, Chilwell, who taking to Twitter after the game, said: "Kepa brilliant again."
The England left-back will be absent for the rest of the season as a result of injury, but is still supporting his teammates as they search for further silverware.
Tuchel may or may not end up seeing Chilwell's message to Kepa, but the verdict is certainly a sign that the keeper is improving game by game.
