Ben Chilwell says Chelsea must find a way to be better in the final third after their draw with Leeds United.
Thomas Tuchel's men were forced to settle for a goalless draw at Elland Road this lunchtime, failing to create clear-cut chances despite the game being rather open in nature.
That's now 12 games unbeaten for Chelsea across all competitions, but it's also a third draw from six games, and that's frustrating for the Blues as they challenge for a top-four spot.
"I think coming into the game, people would have predicted goals. The way they play is pretty free-flowing and they are a difficult team to play against, it was a tough game," Chilwell told BT Sport after the game.
"It wasn't the best pitch for both teams to play on. But, yeah, we were disappointed not to get the win because we had chances.
"I had a few chances and one in the second half that I should have scored. We want more from each other in the final third.
"Defensively we are solid, but we want to score goals to make sure we get these types of win."
Chelsea remain in fourth place but are only three points ahead of West Ham, who have two games in-hand.
"That's why we are disappointed," added Chilwell. "It's very tight between fourth and eight and that's why we want these sort of points.
"But if you keep a clean sheet and don't win, you come away with a draw and that is always a positive, as well."
Chilwell has been out of favour of late with Marcos Alonso preferred at left wing-back, but he returned to start against Leeds United.
Competition has made his life difficult at times since his summer move from Leicester City, but it will only help their Blues in their bid to return to the top four and beyond.
"It's a good thing, when you have so many good players in each position," the left-back continued.
"During the week, everyone is fighting for a spot and it challenges all of us to push for that start on the weekend, that's only a positive."
