Ben Chilwell fires warning to Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs in the race for Premier League top six

Leicester city and England full back Ben Chilwell has warned his Premier League rivals that the foxes are confident that they can 'beat anyone' this season as they aim for a top six finish.

Brendan Rodgers' men are one of just three sides in the league that remain unbeaten going into the first international break and sit in third place in the table behind Liverpool and Manchester City. Leicester have eight points from their first four games, including two wins from their last two.

The Foxes have been backed by pundits to break into at least the top six this season, and the club have made no secret of their desire to do so.

"That's the aim for everyone this season," Chilwell told TalkSport ahead of England's European qualifiers this week. "We're definitely confident we can beat anyone on our day, especially with the quality going forward."

Striker Jamie Vardy has been in brilliant form for Leicester under Rodgers, scoring 12 goals from 15 appearances since the former Liverpool boss' appointment in February.

Leicester bought in four new players during the summer, including a £40m deal for Belgian midfielder Youri Tielemans who impressed on loan at the King Power Stadium last season.

Despite losing defender Harry Maguire to Manchester United for a reported £80m, the Foxes have enjoyed a positive start to the season, with Caglar Soyuncu seamlessly stepping into the defence.

The foxes face a test of their top six credentials when they take on Manchester United at Old Trafford in the first game back after the international break, before hosting Tottenham a week later.
