Ben Carson said in an interview on Newsmax TV Monday he'll "likely" step down as Housing and Urban Development Secretary at the end of President Trump's first term.
What he's saying: "I will certainly finish out this term,” said Carson, who has been a permanent fixture in an administration with a high staff turnover. “I would be interested in returning to the private sector because I think you have just as much influence, maybe more, there."
