Ben Affleck appears to still carry a torch for former flame Jennifer Lopez.
The star recently lavished praise on his ex for her work commitments and now a source has revealed his still cares for his former beau nearly two decades after their relationship ended.
An insider told In Touch that the Batman star, 48, "still thinks about" their time together.
The source said: "They had a red hot romance at one time and he still thinks about it."
And the source even revealed that the actor has made amends with the Love Don't Cost A Thing singer, 51, after admitting it was his fault their engagement broke down.
The pair were due to get married after the Way Back actor popped the question in 2002. However, by 2004 the flame had fizzled and the duo went their separate ways.
"He wasn’t in a good head space back then," the source admitted before saying: "He’s a changed man today."
The comments follow the praise Ben poured on his ex-fiancee in an interview with InStyle.
He said: "I thought I had a good work ethic, but I was completely humbled and blown away by what she was committed to doing day in and day out, the seriousness in which she took her work, the quiet and dedicated way she went about accomplishing her goals, and then how she would go back and redouble her efforts.
"She remains, to this day, the hardest working woman I’ve come across in this business.
"She has great talent, but she has also worked very hard for her success, and I’m so happy for her that she seems, at long last, to be getting the credit she deserves."
He even joked that he wanted to know where the singer kept her fountain of youth and questioned how J-Lo still looked the same as she did in 2003.
Jennifer is currently linked with former baseball star Alex Rodriguez, although she's sparked split rumours by posing without her engagement ring.
Ben's relationship status is unknown following his split from Ana de Armas in January.
