As their love appeared to take off again, the former flames have even been working out together in a gym in Miami on Monday.
Rumours the famous exes, fondly known as "Bennifer", have sent celebrities and fans alike wild with whispers of their reunion.
Over the weekend, Ben appeared to dust off the old love token from their first relationship nearly two decades ago.
The silver watch has a distinctive look with its chunky chain.
It seemed to be the same watch the Hollywood hunk wore during his cameo in the singer's 2002 music video for Jenny from the Block.
Famously the actor wore the dazzling love token throughout their romantic relationship and he was often pictured wearing it in the early 2000s.
Most recently, the couple broke cover after their gym class on Monday.
J-Lo was sure to catch Ben's eye in gorgeous purple leggings which hugged her famous curves.
It was said the couple put on a playful display at the gym amid whispers of their romantic reunion.
A source told MailOnline : "They even shared a kiss on the gym floor and were super playful with each other between sets."
The Mirror reached out to Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez's representatives for further comment.
Sparks started flying when lovebirds Ben and Jen first met on the set of their movie Gigli in 2002 which was a box office bomb.
Nevertheless, their love flourished and the high-profile couple soon decided to get engaged.
They had plans to marry in September 2003 before the pair decided to postpone their wedding.
Their relationship cooled off 17 years ago when they broke up in January 2004.
For May's cover story of InStyle, the Batman star shared his gushing thoughts over J-Lo and her "fountain of youth".
As well as her looks, Ben was extremely complimentary of her talent and success in the showbiz world.
He said of his ex: "Where are you keeping the fountain of youth? Why do you look the same as you did in 2003 and it kind of looks like I'm in my 40s…at best?"
He added: "She has great talent, but she has also worked very hard for her success, and I’m so happy for her that she seems, at long last, to be getting the credit she deserves."
J-Lo broke the news of her split from Alex Rodriguez, aka A-Rod, in early May.
