Ben Affleck confronts Max Kellerman on his hot Tom Brady takes

Ben Affleck joined ESPNs “First Take” and confronted Max Kellerman about his hot takes on New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.

For three years, Kellerman has suggested Brady’s play is in significant decline and that his career is nearing its end. Of course, during that span, Brady has appeared in two Super Bowls and he has won one of them. This offseason, Brady’s statistics were in decline, but he also had a weak supporting cast. Perhaps this is the year Kellerman can make his argument. Perhaps Brady will yet again make the ESPN analyst look foolish. Affleck, a Boston sports fan, seems to think it will be the latter.

“He was gonna fall off the cliff, and then the cliff was the Super Bowl,” Affleck said. “I’d love to fall off that cliff, bro. Can I fall off the Super Bowl cliff? Where is that cliff?”

Surely, Affleck is expressing the opinion of Patriots fans.
