Belstaff relocates and launches flagship Scottish store in Glasgow

Luxury brand Belstaff has relocated and opened its new flagship Scottish store here in Glasgow.

Previously located in Princes Square, the upmarket retailer - a celebrity favourite - has moved to a bigger site in Ingram Street.

Boasting a swanky coffee bar which customers can use while their jackets get some TLC at the in-house waxing station, the shop will continue the iconic British designer's new aim, which involves putting community first.

Decked out with locally sourced furniture and antique pieces which are "unique to Ingram Street", staff are tasked with making patrons feel as comfy as possible when they visit.

The new 2175sq ft unit, which launched on Friday, sees the firm take a 10-year lease with property experts Savills.

John Menzies, director in the retail agency team at Savills Glasgow said: “Ingram Street is proving the place to be for luxury retailers. Its location, which sits between the affluent Merchant City and Buchanan Street, is emerging as Glasgow’s new upmarket destination for shoppers as the high end retail cluster and cost effective rents continues to attract and retain popular brands.”
