Translink is putting on extra services for Belsonic as the festival kicks off this weekend in Belfast.
Ben Nicky will take to the stage in Ormeau Park on Saturday evening, September 4, for the first of 11 dates for the popular festival.
To help music lovers travel safely Translink will operate a special shuttle bus (service 678) between Belfast City Centre and Ormeau Park on all concert dates from 5.30pm to 11.15pm.
Meanwhile, late evening Nightmover services will depart at 11.30pm from Belfast City Centrel (standard fares apply - £2.50 adult cash single, Metro Extended Zone multi-journey card, DayLink and Metro Travelcard accepted).
Glider users can get home using standard late evening Glider G1 services which will operate serving McKinstry Road departing May Street and Dundonald Park & Ride departing Wellington Place.
For those wishing to make it home via train, there are a number of additional services will operate from Belfast Lanyon Place, including:
• 11.40pm to Portadown stopping at Lisburn, Moira, Lurgan and Portadown
• 11.40pm to Bangor stopping at Holywood, Bangor West and Bangor
• 11.47pm to Coleraine stopping at Mossley West, Antrim, Ballymena, Cullybackey, Ballymoney and Coleraine.

Translink Metro will operate a special shuttle bus between Belfast City Centre* and Ormeau Park on all concert dates.
The event shuttle bus (Service 678) will operate to/from all Belsonic events at Ormeau Park from 5.30pm to 11.15pm:
• Service 678 will operate from 5.30pm with a 10 minute frequency;
• First journey is timed to arrive at Ormeau Park just before gates open;
• For travel to the event the frequency will gradually reduce to 30 minutes;
• For travel from the event the frequency will increase incrementally to 20, 10, 6 and 3 minutes;
• Last journeys are timed to arrive in City Centre for 11.30pm,
*Picks up at Howard Street and Great Northern Mall (Great Victoria Street)
