Below Deck's Captain Lee slams 'lack of respect' from Captain Sandy after sacking Camille

Below Deck's Captain Lee has hit out at his replacement Captain Sandy for her 'lack of respect' while sacking problematic crew member Camille Lamb.

She was removed by Sandy during the most recent episode of the hit-Bravo reality TV show, sparking a reaction from outgoing captain Lee.

The so-called 'stud of the sea', 73, was forced to leave the boat during the start of season 10 as ongoing health problems were "getting worse".

Sandy took over and was instantly welcomed by issues caused by Camille, including drinking on the job and explosive rows between other crew members.

She made the executive decision to let the yachtie go after receiving yet another complaint from chief stew Fraser Olender, something Lee said "lacked respect".

While he didn't disagree with Sandy's decision to let Camille go, in fact he said he would " fire her too", he just had a problem with the captain's "procedure".

Live-Tweeting during the most recent episode, Lee even revealed that he wasn't consulted about the management decision, he "found out after".

Replying to someone asking if he agreed with the sacking, Lee said: "I would have fired her."

He explained: "But prior to that I would have notified the Captain who I was replacing what I was doing and why, not after the fact."

"Why contact me after and tell me at all? Plenty of time to call me after, but not before," he Tweeted – before airing his thoughts on the captain's firing method.

Lee explained: "She made the right call. But lacked in procedure and respect. Just the way I roll."

Clarifying exactly what he meant in his posts, he said: "Had I been replacing Capt Sandy on her boat temporarily and felt the necessity to fire one of her crew, I would have called her first to let her know what I was doing and why."

"I agree with her decision, just not how she went about it," he concluded.

Speaking of axing Camille in a recent interview, Sandy said: "I stand by it, I fire people because if they're the one singular thing where everything else is evolving around them, that's the problem I have to eliminate."

It's not all bad blood off ship, though. According to Captain Sandy, the pair only recently reunited at a charity event with her fellow co-stars.

"I did a fundraiser for the maritime industry and she showed up," Sandy told E! news. "A lot of Below Deck people showed up that I didn't even invite.

"I thought that's pretty awesome, because they love the maritime industry."
